Public Meeting Set For Falls Of The Neuse Road Improvements
The City of Raleigh is having a public meeting on planned improvements to Falls of Neuse Road from Raven Ridge Road to New Falls of Neuse Road.
The public meeting will be held on Thursday, July 17, in Campbell Lodge at Durant Nature Park, 8305 Camp Durant Road. Representatives from the City and URS Corporation-North Carolina, the City’s consultant on the Falls of Neuse Road project, will be available from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to review and discuss preliminary design mapping and answer questions from residents. The public meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. with a short presentation explaining the results of corridor studies and a discussion on the preliminary design of the project. At the conclusion of the presentation, residents will be allowed to ask questions and make comments.
The proposed improvements consist of realigning Falls of Neuse Road from Fonville Road to New Falls of Neuse Road. The City also plans to widen Falls of Neuse Road from Raven Ridge Road to Fonville Road.
