Here’s what the main expenses go to:
Transport
I don’t drive a car, and few people in the city needed it before the pandemic. San Francisco has excellent urban transport: there are surface and underground metro, buses, trams. And only at the moment of quarantine, it became necessary to use taxis more for safety. Taxi prices are constantly increasing. Which is very inspiring to pass on the right as soon as possible.
Yoga and sports
A separate category of my expenses is sports. We now have restrictions on visiting the gym: for example, in my area only four people can be in a class at a time. From this, the price of training and yoga classes has increased significantly. But it is still a great way to pass time, relax, switch, and support a financially small business.
Products with delivery
After moving to the States, I practically stopped shopping. Online delivery works so fast and great that you no longer want to waste time shopping. Therefore, I understand that sometimes I overpay for groceries, but I donβt waste my time and energy looking for everything I need.
California taxes
If you work for yourself, you will also have to pay taxes yourself. It is worth noting that in the place where I live, I have to pay about 40% of my income to the state. Sometimes it seems crazy. Probably it is.
