San Francisco (and all of the others cities in USA) have Facebook communities for Asians, Pakistanians, Albanians, etc. I got access in advance to consult with local expats about which area of the city it is better to move to, which bank card to open, how to get health insurance, how to rent the first house if there is no credit score yet (a credit score in the USA that helps to understand your solvency) and so on.
Of course, I remembered all my acquaintances and old friends who already lived in the States. The guys helped to check how good the conditions were in the apartment, which I rented virtually, not knowing exactly who I was transferring money to the account. Just a few convened at Zoom with those who have already walked this path have inspired me even more.
